It’s one of the most famous sayings in sports:  “It ain’t over till it’s over“.  This phrase reminds us that you can’t come to a true conclusion until the whole game or the whole story is finally played out.  After reading about King Solomon’s early years and interacting with his book of Proverbs, one might assume that Solomon lived his entire life under God’s complete approval and blessing.  But in 1 Kings 10 and 11, we discover the discouraging truth that Solomon’s ending was a sad departure from his faithful beginning.
