Although we would love for you to join with us here at Grace Baptist Church, that is not our main concern. Our greatest desire is that you might have complete assurance that your sins have been forgiven and that you have eternal life. The Bible teaches that you may know that you have eternal life (1 John 5:13), and this life is found only by knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Are you hoping to find eternal life in your religious background?

Are you hoping to find eternal life in your church attendance?

Are you hoping to find eternal life in your good works or morality?

The Bible says none of these things have the power to remove sin and grant eternal life.  You must turn away from yourself and look to Jesus Christ alone who is the only way of salvation (John 14:6).  How do you do this?

1- You must realize that you have sinned before a holy God.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”  (Romans 3:23)

“For there is no one who does not sin…” (1 Kings 8:46)

2- You must recognize that sin has a terrible penalty.

“The wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23)

“The person who sins will die…” (Ezekiel 18:20)

3- You must recognize Christ’s perfect payment for your sins.

“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  (Romans 5:8)

“Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures…” (1 Corinthians 15:3)

4- You must receive God’s forgiveness and provision of salvation through believing faith.

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith— and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

“That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9-10)
