The doctrine of justification (how sinners are made right with God) was the central issue of the Protestant Reformation.  Still today, justification by faith alone is a divisive issue separating Roman Catholics and evangelicals-- as it is also the dividing line between the true, biblical gospel and all other false-gospels based on works.  When we affirm "Sola Fide" (faith alone), what are we saying exactly about how sinners are made right with God?  Is it by religion---good works-- sacraments-- or doing our part to cooperate with grace?   ~500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation
