Eric Clapton “Unplugged” is the greatest-selling ‘live’ album in history. One of the first songs on that album is a 1950’s guitar tune entitled “Before You Accuse Me”. It features the famous lyric, “Before you accuse me, take a look at yourself…” In Matthew 27, the gospel writer records the ironic accusations that were leveled at Jesus on the Friday afternoon He was crucified.
